SGS II D4rK Update

Made using LauncherPro with Desktop Visualizer, Folder Organizer, SwipePad (for main shortcuts and phone functions), Elixir 2, and Brightness Level and NetCounter for widgets. At more than arms length you can tell at a glance if it's charging, the battery level, whether mute is on, and the time. Custom icons are used throughout.

From the top, left to right;

The tab shows the number of running apps, and opens the app manager to view app-specific RAM usage, close running apps etc. Time and date open clock and alarms, and the WiFi symbol in the right corner opens NetCounter which gives me data usage stats (and alerts me when I'm close to my monthly allowance).

Next row is storage, (internal, sd and external sd) which open more in-depth storage stats.

RAM and CPU chips both display usage, CPU opens running processes (RAM opens RAM usage stats) and to the left of the CPU is the Brightness Level widget.

To the right the LED's show battery level (which open battery stats), and battery temp is shown above. The flash indicates charging.

Under the battery the speaker symbol mutes/unmutes (wire crossing it means it's on mute).

Bottom left hand corner goes straight to phone on press, or recent apps (gesturing up), running up from the home button brings down notifications (allowing one-handed use) and bottom right corner opens Dolphin HD on press or bookmarks on gesture.

Handcent is the most customiseable text app I've found, and it plays nice with other apps (unlike GoSMS).

As I'm right handed I've configured SwipePad to run with my most important phone functions on the right hand side, again so I can use the phone one-handed. Another major bonus of using SwipePad is that it's accessible from anywhere (even in other apps), so I can instantly go from one app to another without having to go via home.

WidgetLocker lockscreen, using the Sense theme.

For security I use Visidion Applock Plus to lock settings, internet, email and market with face recognition. It also has liveliness detection, so it can't be fooled with a photo.
